LJR Bookkeeping, LLC, is owned and managed by Lois Johnson-Roberts, an educator, accountant, certified bookkeeper, certified QuickBooks pro-advisor, and tax preparer.
Lois has a passion for helping small businesses gain financial confidence. She has found that with the implementation of proper bookkeeping and accounting procedures, many companies soar to new heights. Consequently, Lois has devoted her life to helping small business owners focus on running and managing their businesses thus growing and increasing profitability while she ensures that their bookkeeping is done in a timely and efficient manner with utmost confidentiality.
She, effectively, bridges the gap between her clients and their CPA.
Education and Experience
Lois’ education includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Computer Science from St. Benedict University and a Master of Science degree in Accounting from Kean University. She also passed the CPA examination.
She has since spent 15 years teaching accounting and 14 years as a bookkeeper and accountant (including 10 years as a controller). During this time, she has mastered several accounting software platforms and is a certified Quickbooks ProAdvisor.
